Job description

As a multi-residential operationa manager, tou will:
  • Manage the daily operations of assigned multi-residential buildings to assure quality services that meet the needs of the clients, in accordance with COGIR’s philosophy and values, established policies & procedures, standards of conduct, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide team leadership for all buildings, schedule direct support workers and team lead staff, provide home-specific onboarding and training, and ensure team members understand their roles and are performing up to expectations
  • Monitor client and staff safety, minimize risks and ensure the environment is safe at all times
  • Manage ongoing maintenance of all buildings and equipment, ensuring inspections are completed to ensure safety standards, codes and licensing requirements are met
  • Ensure all individual needs and contractual obligations are met or exceeded while maintaining alignment with the budget and business needs
  • Ensure monthly financial and key performance indicator (KPI) reports and results for the region and independent business units are analyzed and actioned
  • Assist the Ontario Senior Regional Director with planning of budgets and all projects related to operations improvement
  • Inspect apartments to be renovated and ensure follow-ups
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and different stakeholders
  • Responsible of delivering results surpassing set budgets, attaining and maintaining high occupancy

Requirements:

  • University degree in administration or any related work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role (real estate is a plus)
  • Strong leader and ability to mobilize his/her team to work as a team providing high quality customer service
  • Must be responsible and honest in all dealings
  • Combine conceptual thinking skills with a results orientation
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of personal accountability and be able to instill that in others
  • Be highly organized and able to function in a fast paced environment
  • Be highly skilled in interpersonal relations and communications
  • Access to a vehicle with a valid driver's license
